Provides an educational opportunity that prepares students for industrial careers or for pursuing graduate programs. Facilities include equipment for structure determination, properties measurement, and materials preparation and processing. Analytic instruments such as IR and UV spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, mass spectrometers, NMR spectrometers, scanning electron microscope, a photoelectron spectrometer, B.E.T. surface analysis equipment and a LEED/Auger system also available. |
